Welcome
Welcome to my Quested One-Name Study website. I hope you find it interesting and informative.
What is a One Name Study? A One Name Study is a project researching all occurrences of a surname, as opposed to researching a particular pedigree (ancestors of one person) or descendancy (descendants of one person or a couple). The research is usually carried out globally and covers all holders of that particular surname, whether acquired by birth, marriage, adoption, illegitimacy or deed poll.
I have been researching my family since 1986 with a particular interest in the Quested surname and have been collecting Quested information for a fair number of years. I have registered the surname Quested with the Guild of One Name Studies and also with The Surname Society.
If you are Quested-related or interested in the surname please do get in touch
